Plan Your Visit

Many of our visitors ask for advice on local attractions, places to eat and possible lodging options.  In an effort to help visitors to the Preserve plan their trips, we collected links of online resources, as well as a partial list of locally available lodging.  Many local B&Bs have complete listings on Airbnb and or VRBO, we encourage you to take a look at these sites for more information, maps and photos.  Activities and lodging are arranged nearest to farthest from the Preserve.

Lodging

Cliff River Springs
Located on 1200 acres of beautiful high desert country just an hour north of Santa Fe & four miles from the Ojo Caliente spa, Cliff River Springs' 7 charming casitas feature full kitchens, private baths & outdoor patios. A large, clear spring-fed pond makes for delightful swimming. Hiking, birding, and photography opportunities abound. Stay 3 nights and your 4th night's free!

Enchantment Yurt Air Bnb
This beautifully appointed Colorado style yurt is on acreage that borders the Embudo River in Dixon, NM. Walk with your coffee to the river and meditate. Breakfast served each morning. Dixon is a lovely community known for its history, culture art. We have 3 Vineyards and a brewery within a few miles. There are many beautiful trails and river rafting.

Casita del Bosque
Enjoy the peace and quiet of a Northern New Mexico village while being only a stone’s throw away from a multitude of attractions and activities. Explore our beautiful canyons, rivers, mountains and unique communities in any direction from Lyden, NM.

The Tower Guest House
The Tower Guest House is located in the center of a small working (but quiet) garlic farm (plus onions and shallots), on a quiet cottonwood-lined lane that runs along the Embudo River, a mile and a half from the center of the village of Dixon, with its full-service coop grocery store and library. Away from the main highway, and bathed by the sounds of the river 100 yards to the south, the location is singularly peaceful.

Origin at Rancho de San Juan
Northern New Mexico's luxury guest resort with well-appointed overnight accommodations and facilities for workshops, retreats, meetings and events is located a scenic 38 miles from Santa Fe, 10 miles from the historic hot springs at Ojo Caliente and 20 miles from Georgia O'Keeffe's home in the village of Abiquiu.
